Hi there! I’m Hannah. Welcome to Just Bee. :)

I’m a twenty-something newlywed soaking up all the small joys of rural life.

This lifestyle blog also chronicles my “city-girl-turned-country” story… I grew up in Minnesota’s SW suburbs and now I live in the rural, southern part of the state! I smile a lot. I think a lot. Although I look forward to the day when I am a mama and we live on our own farm place, I’m loving the adventure we’re currently on!

I married my best friend on a sunny day in March. Bjorn is my comfort and my companion, the love of my life and my best friend. He keeps me rooted in reality and blesses me with his steadiness, all the while pushing me to have big dreams. I’ll be spending my whole life with him striving to love him back just as self-sacrificially as he loves me!

I’m learning to accept the peace that can only come from the One who saved me from my “messiness” – Jesus Christ. I rest in His promises and I strive to live my life in gratitude for what God has done for me. I’m choosing to depend on myself less and lean on my Creator more.

I teach 3rd grade but my life is much bigger than that. I am captivated by life’s small joys and moments, and I capture whatever I can through photography and writing! This blog is my on-going “capture life” project and my passion! I believe that every moment of life is valuable and that everyone has a story to share with the world. Let’s connect so we can share in this endeavor to LOVE LIFE together! :)

I love:

Lemonade, lifelong learning, dirt roads, James Herriot books, my Gregory Alan Isakov Spotify station, blue skies, sweatpants at the end of a long day, the Amish, photography, red pickup trucks, chai, French manicures, baking, porch swings…and my husband. <3
